Gion Grischott
The BioSuisse and Demeter beekeeper Gion Grischott from Graubünden is primarily concerned with ensuring that his bees are doing well. He says about himself that he is "affected by the bee virus" - he checks on them whenever possible and it can take many hours until he returns home after a "...I'm just with the bees for a moment".
Thanks to his decades of experience and his uncompromising focus on quality, eight wonderful types of honey are created from the various bee locations in his homeland. The altitude ranges from his place of residence in Pignia at 1050m to around 2000m in the Avers Valley, the variety of aromas ranges from dandelion honey in spring to linden and summer meadow honeys to the alpine rose varieties from the high mountain areas. Over the years, a real Gion Grischott fan base has emerged that follows the work of this extraordinary beekeeper with interest and enthusiasm.
Alpuris has been working closely with Gion Grischott since it was founded in 2016, when we added our first honey to our range, the spring honey Pignia, and we are proud to be the only supplier to be able to present all 8 types of honey.
We don't have to and don't want to say anything more about these honey experiences, the rest is just quiet enjoyment - let's have it!
