alpuris started as a small family business in 2016. Elisabeth and Michael Mildner first brought the Alps into the glass. With 12 Swiss honeys, from the Valais to the Val Müstair, carefully selected and delightfully curated, presented in a modern and high-quality manner.

This not only appealed to gourmets and aroused the interest of the Federal President, who then used the alpuris honey in the wooden gift box as an official Swiss state gift for an entire presidential year - Elisabeth and Michael also wanted more. So they developed the first Swiss honey subscription and the first tasting set for Swiss varietal honeys.

Since then, our Alpine and honey range has continued to grow with the help of our bees. Most of our products come from Switzerland, not a single one from low-wage countries with long transport routes and ethical and ecological problems.

In the summer of 2024, Elisabeth and Michael started planning their succession, as both are due to retire in 2025. They found what they were looking for in Grazielle Momo and Adrian Stitzel: the new owners took over alpuris in September 2024. Michael will continue to provide advice. This sets the course and the future of alpuris is secured.

Good things are so close - we would be delighted if you would continue to accompany us on this exciting journey of discovery!
