Spring in the traditional Swiss apiary

Simon and Joris Egger's bees are "swarming" about spring! They use the beautiful, warm days on the Suhrerchopf in Aargau to collect pollen and nectar, from which they make the honey for the storage rooms inside the apiary.

You will find the honey of the Egger beekeeper family, which comes from this apiary, as "Forest honey from Suhrerchopf" in our alpuris range.

The traditional Swiss apiary was built in the 1940s; it is still full of life today and in "high activity", as the video impressively shows:
