Forest honey Nunningen/Solothurn

With its deep dark color and long liquid consistency, this honey is easily recognizable as forest honey. It comes from the organic beekeeper Thomas Marti, who also places his bees in the community of Nunningen in the canton of Solothurn in the summer. There, in good years, they find plenty of honeydew on leaves and conifers in the lonely, extensive forests.

Origin: Solothurn, Switzerland.

Aromas: Exciting interplay of leaf and conifer honeydew. Mild, full-bodied silver fir nuances harmonize with intensive, strong and slightly tart aromas.
