Heather honey from the Gotthard Pass/Uri (BioSuisse)

This honey comes from organic beekeeper Thomas Marti, who moves to the mountains with his bees in the summer. In addition to the Alpine roses, you will also find many other wild flowers for a wonderful mountain honey, and if the weather is right in late autumn, in good years there is also a wonderful heather honey.

Origin: Uri, Switzerland.

Aromas: Harmonious interplay of very mild, gently bitter heather flowers and delicately sweet alpine rose notes as well as diverse wildflower aromas. This honey is slightly sweeter compared to Martin Dettli's Demeter heather honey from the same region and the same harvest year.
