Cayenne pepper spice organic 30g

Cayenne pepper is not a type of pepper as the name suggests, but - like chili - is related to peppers. It would actually be more correct to speak of the Cayenne chilli variety. The red fruits are gently dried and then ground into a fine powder.

There are a variety of chilli varieties that vary significantly in their spiciness. Our Cayenne has a bright red color and a medium but intense spiciness. This is due to the relatively high capsaicin content - although it is significantly hotter than rose-hot peppers, Birdseye Chilli is even hotter.
