This honey comes from the Swiss side of the Splügen Pass in Graubünden, where the bees of the itinerant beekeeper Dominique Schmidli live at an altitude of almost 2000m. In spring they collect the nectar of dandelion and in summer the nectar of alpine roses, wild raspberry blossoms and many different mountain flowers.
A note on the current 2022 vintage: The natural honey was not stirred, so it is naturally cristallized and slightly darker than the previous one in the picture below.
Origin: Grisons, Switzerland.
Flavors: Fine balance of the different nectar sources, in which, depending on the vintage, dandelion, alpine roses or raspberry blossoms come to the fore in terms of taste.
