Acacia honey Ligornetto/Ticino

The nectar for this honey comes from robinia trees around the Ticino village of Ligornetto. Because the robinia is also called "false acacia" and the appearance and taste of the honey is very similar to the real acacia tree, over time the term "acacia honey" has also become common for honey from robinia blossoms.
