Spicy paprika, organic spice

This rose-hot paprika tastes strong and has a nice fruity spiciness. Our peppers come from a farmers' cooperative in the north of the politically autonomous province of Vojvodina in Serbia.

The farmers belong to the Hungarian minority and produce the peppers in a very traditional way: the pods are picked by hand when they are perfectly ripe and dried slowly and gently. After that they are ground on a traditional stone mill; this process allows to obtain the essential oils. With the rose-hot paprika, a proportion of the seeds and partitions of the paprika are also ground, which gives the spice its pleasant spiciness. In this way you get a paprika with an extraordinary intensity of taste.
