This Alpine flower heather honey is a real godsend that only occurs on average every five years - the flowering of the heather plants high up in the mountains is so dependent on the weather.

Is it raining enough, but not too much, and is the sun shining enough? Only if all the conditions are right can beekeepers harvest this exceptional and very rare honey. But even after the harvest, when the honey is still in the combs, there is still a lot of work for the beekeepers to do. The unique texture of heather honey means that it can only be removed from the honeycomb with a lot of experience and great effort. But this rare type of honey is an incomparable, healthy treat that goes wonderfully with autumn and winter.

Origin: Uri, Switzerland.

Aromas: Wonderful balance of mildly bitter heather flowers and delicately sweet alpine rose notes, orange peel and delicate rose petals in the midst of the very special, jelly-like texture.
