Whole coriander, organic spice

Coriander seeds are unmistakable with their tart, spicy, nutty taste. Its sweet aftertaste is unique. Coriander enhances other spices and pairs really well with cumin.

Coriander is essential in many kitchens and is used in particular in Indian cuisine for curries, fried fish, poultry and legumes, and in Germany for baked goods and other dishes. Coriander is also added to the Gose beer, which is native to Saxony-Anhalt and Saxony. The seeds can also be brewed as a tea. The essential oil stimulates the appetite and soothes stomach and intestinal problems. The high content of health-promoting phytonutrients and essential oils in coriander is said to account for its healing effect.
