Eichenwaldhonig Pindos/Griechenland

Mit diesem Honig von Kiriakos Viros begeben Sie sich auf eine hocharomatische Wanderung durch die Eichenwälder des Pindos-Gebirges. Er stammt aus dem Nationalpark Valia Kalda auf einer Höhe von 900m ü.M. , wird von Juni bis Mitte Juli geerntet und passt sehr gut zu Nüssen oder Käse und Joghurt. 

Herkunft: Epirus, Griechenland.

Aromen: Beim Great Taste Wettbewerb 2020 hat dieser Honig sogar zwei Sterne erhalten. Hier der Kommentar:

"A really rich and dark amber-coloured honey that positively glows with natural goodness. Definite sweet aromas of the bee and the hive, complex and enticing. Immediately mouth watering, melting on the tongue to release its layers of flavour. A muscovado sweetness, hints of orange and spice, licorice and darker tones of peat and wood, and a subtle smokey tingling bitter note on the finish rounds off this journey taste. Richly textured, chewy and boldly flavoured honey that reveals the foraging environment."
