Overview of diseases

Just like in humans, bacteria, viruses, and fungi can cause diseases in bees. Some of these diseases can be cured by the colony itself, while others require intervention by beekeepers. Below is an overview of the most common bee diseases:

Bacterial:

- American and European foulbrood

- Chronic paralysis

- Nosemosis / Nosematosis
