With this book, Johannes Gruber, himself an organic beekeeper, oenologist, pomologist and popular producer at alpuris, presents a fascinating and comprehensive work about beekeepers, varietal honeys and the alpine landscapes from which they come. Together with the well-known Zurich journalist Dominik Flammer, Gruber describes around 50 different types of honey, from the Provencal Alps via Switzerland and Austria to Slovenia.

The impressive photos by Sylvan Müller illustrate this sweet Alpine journey in a cogenial way, and the alpuris beekeeper Gion Grischott can be seen on the cover photo and in the content.
